Introduction to HDTV Resolution Test Chart Card
The resolution test chart TE224 is used to measure and describe the frequency response of electronic high-definition cameras.
There are 50 multi wave blocks distributed on the 16:9 screen of the test chart, which are arranged horizontally and vertically to measure the resolution in both directions. All multi wave blocks are labeled with numbers indicating the resolution of each image height period, which is composed of black and white alternating television lines.
The arrangement of the middle two rows is different. The highest resolution in the upper row is in the middle of the image, with a frequency of 1000 cph in the middle and decreasing on both sides. The frequency in the lower row increases from 50 cph on the left to 1000 cph on the right, which can be used to measure and describe the frequency response of the inspected camera.
